Principessa Prosecco – the first organic, biological and vegan-friendly Italian prosecco in limited edition bottles with certified Denominazione di Origine Controllata (controlled designation of origin) – will make its market debut with its arrival to South Florida.
Conceptualized by owners Max Musina and Michael Goldstein, the fresh sparkling wine is made with Glera grapes found exclusively in Prosecco in Trieste, Italy – the government controlled and designated vineyards of the Veneto Region with only the perfect balance of minerals and sugar content. The result is ethereal fruit aromas of apple, lemon and nectarine, and a silky smooth flavor profile. Spritzy notes of green apple, pear, and honeysuckle are highlighted with a crisp acidity that carries over to the palette.
Principessa Prosecco’s name was inspired by the “modern day princess” – women who are inclusive, empowering, relevant, inspirational and aspirational role models that enjoy a lifestyle of luxury and sexiness, regardless of age, race, income, or background. Produced in Italy by a 4th generation winery and imported in the U.S. by Prosecco, LLC, the 750ml bottle will be available at retail stores in South Florida commencing July 2018. By November 2018, it will begin rolling out in other U.S. markets.
